Sustainable Procurement Policy

At J’adore Deluxe Hotel & SPA, our “Sustainable Procurement Policy” has been created based on the principles and values expressed in all our other policies. Acting in compliance with laws and ethical rules during procurement processes, avoiding procurement of endangered species, and avoiding any discrimination based on religion, language, race, gender, sexual orientation, or physical abilities in institutions and individuals with whom we work. We prioritize local suppliers in line with environmental sensitivity and economic interests, while expecting suppliers and subcontractors to also comply with legal and ethical standards. Our goal is to strengthen and sustain this culture throughout the entire supply chain. To achieve this goal, we expect our suppliers to share our core principles and collaborate with us in continuously improving and expanding these values. We encourage constructive feedback and sharing of exemplary practices to ensure continuous improvement.

In this context, our priorities are:

Ensuring that all operations in our supply chain are conducted in compliance with the law and ethical principles.

Establishing sincere, honest, respectful, fair, impartial, and transparent business relationships with all our suppliers without discrimination; ensuring fair conduct in all procurement activities including supplier selection; and fulfilling our obligations to suppliers in a timely manner.

Creating a sustainable supply chain culture by demonstrating exemplary approaches in sustainability and corporate social responsibility to the stakeholders in our supply chain.

Encouraging our suppliers to provide feedback and share best practices by collaborating with them to ensure continuous improvement.

Working with suppliers who respect society and the environment, are sensitive to climate change, aim for energy efficiency through resource conservation, waste reduction, reuse and recycling activities; use their resources in a nature-friendly and efficient way; conduct activities within emission management of waste and harmful gases and toxic substance management; and comply with all legal regulations and standards in environmental and energy matters, striving to go beyond legal requirements.

Collaborating with suppliers that provide a fair working environment for employees; do not discriminate based on language, race, gender, political views, philosophical beliefs, religion, sect, or similar reasons; value gender equality; regulate the working conditions of pregnant or breastfeeding women in accordance with the law; value employees' opinions and involve them in continuous improvement efforts; protect employees' immunity and unionization rights; prevent forced or compulsory labor; do not employ child labor; and comply with all current laws and regulations related to employment and labor.

Aiming for a sustainable procurement operation, the procurement of products other than fruits, vegetables, and bread is carried out twice a week (Tuesday and Friday).
